Trying to get back into my drawing after a long, let's say hiatus, has been a difficult thing for me.  There have been several barriers, the least of which is getting "rusty" from a lack of practice.  So I have set a goal for myself to do a sketch every day.  Some of these sketches I will be posting on here to keep a nice visual record of where I've been and where I'm going.  Hopefully I will be able to break down these walls that have kept me from pursuing my lifelong passion.

I've been lurking around DA for close to a decade, maybe even longer.  I set up an account around 4 years ago, and never did anything with it.  So here I am, at the end of a long hard road as an artist; I've come through the dark woods of unproductivity and find myself at the threshold of a brave new world.  Hopefully on filled with a new level of artistic output.  (When I have the time that is.  You know, the usual.  Single dad, working 40+ hours a week, trying to find any time he can to work on the things he loves, yadda yadda yadda...)
